I starting working for Solawi Bonn in February 2022 and have already worked seasonally over two summer seasons.

I studied agricultural science in Bonn, where I learned a lot about agriculture and its impact on nature and ecology. At some point however, I realized that the scientific and theoretical approach didn’t fulfil me completely so I started to gather practical experience in regenerative agriculture. In the last couple of years I’ve worked on various farms and started to grow veggies on my own piece of land.

What brought me to Solawi was the urge to take matters into my own hands. For me it’s important to be part of an ecological and economical model which neither exploits nature nor humans, but instead encourages appreciation and respect for them.
